1/4 mile soft packed snow. One plastic sled. Six crazy people out looking for speed. In the freezing cold. The trail above went up the side of the mountain at a nice lesuirely 10% (???) grade. Just enough that at the bottom you were only going about 30mph when you hit the snow bank.
What the pictures don't show is the one run Chris and I made. About 1/2 way down, he went right, I went left and we landed head first in a snow bank. Uh huh, hilarious. Then we decided to finish the run and about at the bottom of the hill, we hit a rock. Well, Chris's rear did. He and the rock became very intimate for about 3 seconds. Then he started yelling about how cold his ass was. What we didn't realize was the the rock had broken off the last 8 inches of the back of the sled and he was dragging tail down the mountain.
Anyway, this holiday season, don't forget the real meaning of Christmas. It's not about presents and money (although a little would be nice), it's about family and friends, health and happiness, oh yeah and Baby Cheese-us.

That looks like so much fun...minus the ass hitting the snow bank incident, of course! Love those red little noses and cheeks!
Hope you guys have a great holiday! See you soon, right?!
