Ninny Turns 30!

Last weekend we all ventured to Pittsburgh and surrounding points to celebrate Aunt Ninny's 30th birthday.


The adept travelers that we are, we decided to beat the impending snow storm and leave Thursday night.


At about 8:30 pm, after passing through a set of tunnels we hit snow and boy did it snow. When we hit the Midway rest stop there was about 2 inches of snow on the turnpike.


So much for planning ahead.


Western PA apparently has no regard for weather forecasts, it just does what it wants. Oh well, we drive a tank, no problem. It's the guy going 75 mph in the Honda Civic that I worry about.


We spent the night at Ninny and Uncle Chris's in Pittsburgh and then headed to Uniontown on Friday afternoon. The location of the surprise party.


We spent Friday and Saturday night with Chris's Mom and Dad, who fed us like nobody's business. Thank you Rick and Denise!


Anyway, the surprise party went off without a hitch and Ninny had no clue. Here were some picks from the party at Rizz's.
