Pappy Dean, Daddy, Papa & MaxThe last two weekends we have spent in Horse Valley. My Grandfather(Pappy Dean) has a hunting cabin there and he is getting some new, somewhat questionable, neighbors. My parents (Gigi and Papa) are building next door...a family compound of sorts! I am hoping for a picnic pavillion between the two properties!!
Papa has requistioned some "big-boy" toys for this new project and the star of the show is "Bobby". Max is fascinated by this earth-moving, tree stump pulling, stone rolling machine. Last weekend was "Chain-Saw" day (a new holiday, perhaps??) as they clear a spot for the new foundation.
So as sawdust flew, I managed to get a few shots of the progress, while Ava stuffed her pockets with acorns!
