This weekend, Daddy and I got to spend some "kid free" time out-of-town. We traveled south to the Bohemia River to meet up with friends (Erin, Heather, Sarah, Jim, Ben and Doug) and spend the weekend drinking and playing cards without the worry of little people poking our eyelids the next morning.

Of course, I did the "bi-annual drink way to much" and spent most of the next day in bed waiting for the cabin to stop spinning.
There is something to be said for "hair of the dog". The Bloody Mary at 1:00 saved my life.
We all powered through (naps, lots of bread, $8 dips in the river and 600mg Motrin) and were eating Maryland crabs and drinking more "hair of the dog" by 4:00pm. We ended Saturday night at the fabulous Chesapeake Inn, with great entertainment and great food.

Needless to say, by Sunday...the dog was bald. And all Doug had, was his menorah!
